I am planning a trip to Italy later this year (less than three months, yay!) and besides stressing about my dry skin, I’ve been imagining the perfect in-flight outfit. I walked into Woolworths just after work now and realised how evil they truly are. I saw everything I want and there is just no way my budget will allow it all. I thought I’d share it with you guys as it is the best I can do!
We’ll have a long flight, spending almost 20 hours in transit and arrive early morning in Rome, meaning there will be minimal clothing changes between my flight and the first day of sight-seeing. So everything has to be comfortable, stylish and still look decent after spending 24 hours in it.
I want to trade in my regular jeans for comfortable, yet stylish silk sweatpants and a bright, ‘beautifying’ coloured top that will keep me warm. For our stop over in Abu Dhabi I will wear a plain white T. Black suede flats are a necessity as well as big sunglasses and a decent travel wallet. Because I am a bit of an earring addict I think a minimalistic pair of studs will add a little polish to this comfortable outfit.
I hope you like this as much as I do and that it will help you solve your travel dilemmas too!

If I had to choose my favourite colour coral would probably win if it were based on my closet contents. It always evokes memories of warm weather and summer dips in the pool.
This sleeveless top from Trenery is great for super hot summer days and the zip detail adds an unexpected edge to what would otherwise be a very basic shell top. Lately I’ve been pairing this bright colour with neutral pants and accessories for an simplistic approach to dressing for the end of summer. I don’t feel nearly ready for winter and I don’t want to start buying warm knits and coats. Are you ready for it?
Available here from R2 299 or your nearest Woolworths or Trenery Store.
I have yet to find the perfect summer handbag. I always end up rotating between a few I’ve had for a couple of years, but I really want one bag that will look great with anything and that will last. This bag caught my eye this weekend with its simplicity and pretty stud detailing. I like the fact that the bag doesn’t feel too pretentious, as so many of the others do. The size is very practical and the colour goes with everything. If only for the price tag, I believe I would have found the perfect bag, I guess the search continues. Do you have one handbag for the summer that looks great with everything?
