I am planning a trip to Italy later this year (less than three months, yay!) and besides stressing about my dry skin, I’ve been imagining the perfect in-flight outfit. I walked into Woolworths just after work now and realised how evil they truly are. I saw everything I want and there is just no way my budget will allow it all. I thought I’d share it with you guys as it is the best I can do!
We’ll have a long flight, spending almost 20 hours in transit and arrive early morning in Rome, meaning there will be minimal clothing changes between my flight and the first day of sight-seeing. So everything has to be comfortable, stylish and still look decent after spending 24 hours in it.
I want to trade in my regular jeans for comfortable, yet stylish silk sweatpants and a bright, ‘beautifying’ coloured top that will keep me warm. For our stop over in Abu Dhabi I will wear a plain white T. Black suede flats are a necessity as well as big sunglasses and a decent travel wallet. Because I am a bit of an earring addict I think a minimalistic pair of studs will add a little polish to this comfortable outfit.
I hope you like this as much as I do and that it will help you solve your travel dilemmas too!
I promised to keep you up to date with my bedroom developments so here goes.
My headboard got delivered this weekend and was promptly hung by my boyfriend (for which I am very thankfull). I don’t think I’d ever have the urge to drill a hole in a wall!
I managed to find these amazing pillows sooner than I had imagined I would. The monochrome ones are from Woolies and I was very lucky to find the gold one, which I have been eyeing for a while, on sale at Country Road.
Next up would be replacing my nightstand, which might take a while. I also have to figure out what I am going to do for lighting. The silver & off-white lamp is clearly out of place. Do you have any suggestions?

When the mercury starts rising, all I want to wear are comfortable dresses that I can easily dress up or down. Country Road currently has an amazing selection in great colours and a variety of cuts to suit everyone. Known for their use of quality fabrics and trendy prints, their dresses really are the easiest way to look stylish this summer.
Country Road’s new autumn collection has me super excited for the new season. Renowned for their simplicity, quality and classical approach to trends – this season’s collection does not disappoint. With two main themes in this collection, monochromatic and luxe utilitarian, it perfectly represent the major trends on the runways. What girl can say no to polka dots and sparkly skirts. I can’t wait until the collection is in store! Which item are you craving most for this autumn/winter?
